Its a Party...Anya

Here's a simple card I created in celebration of the New Year. The image is from TGF - Birthday Anya 2. I threw in the "It's A Party" sentiment since everyone is still partying away for the New Year.

I hope your New Year is starting off right!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Welcome 2014!!!

I am really enjoying and taking advantage of my Winter Break. Today I spent the whole day crafting in my first and very own craft room (Thanks to my wonderful Boyfriend); not having to worry about lesson planning or cleaning. What a great way to start off the new year...hopefully I will get more of these. It felt so awesome to just think about creating and nothing else. Below are 5 Picture/Calendars Easel cards I created in one sitting for the new year. I plan to give them to my close friends and families; and of course one to my BF. You can insert a picture of your choice on the top panel of the card. Great gift to dress up any boring office desk. :)

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!!! Here is a Christmas card I made for a friend. I kept it to a snowflake theme because I have so much snowflake stuff I wanted to make use of. I used a snowflake embossing folder, stamps, ribbon, and die - cut to create this festive card. I even stamped snowflakes on the back of the card to make it look like it is snowing all around. :)

Happy New Year's Eve!!! Wishing everyone a wonderful New Year!

Christmas Wreath

Happy Holidays!!! This year my class made Christmas Wreaths. We used a technique called tear art where they have to tear and glue small pieces of construction paper together to create a collage - like wreath. They kids really enjoyed the project. They took their time to make sure they covered most of the white areas. Below are pictures of some of their work.

Supplies needed for this project:
. paper plates
.construction paper (red & green)
.yarn
.glue

Season's Greetings....Treat Jars

Christmas is just around the corner! Below are pictures of treat jars I decorated. If you browse around my blog, I have decorated these differently in the past for a couple of different occasions. I love making these because its so easy to put together. Hope it inspires you to make some yourself.  Happy Holidays!!! :)

Thanks Pocket Treats

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! I'm grateful for everyone and everything in my life...it wouldn't have been this awesome without it all. Below are some Thanksgiving pocket treats I gave to my co-workers. I used the Stampin' Up Top Note die and Spellbinders Oval die to get the shape of the pocket. Then, I added a Thanks sentiment from a Stamin' Up floral stamp set and tied brown and orange ribbons to hold it altogether. Inside the pocket is a mini size bag of Skittles...you can also use M&Ms or whatever you like. Thanks for dropping by...have a great-ful THANKSGIVING!!!

Simply said from the Heart...Thanks!

Below is a chocolate wrapper covering a Twix bar. I made these for my aides as a way of thanking them for their help. I used the Friskar Crimper to seal the edges and added a strip of paper, a Stampin' Up sentiment, and twine in the middle. Stay tune for my class' Thanksgiving projects.
