Ornaments

For the last couple of months, I have been working with thee best Resource Teachers in town. Although it was only for a short time, I have learned a lot from them. Below are just a few pictures of the arts and craft projects we created with the kids. For the holidays, our students and I painted ornaments and decorated a Christmas tree ornament cookie. Below are pictures of my beautifully painted ornaments of the word "JOY" and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, and my edible Christmas Tree which I gobbled up in a few minutes. Boy was it sweet! :)

Season's Greetings with TGF Holiday Anya

Season's Greetings! I was so in LOVE with TGF's Holiday Anya, I had to make more cards of her. You may not see in this picture, but I added glitter on her shoulder and to the bottom part of her dress. Then I embossed the poinsettia background paper with Red Tinsel Embossing Powder and stamped  it with "Season's Greetings" using Pigment Ink so it would stand out. Take care and stay warm this winter season!

Happy Hollyday Note Card

Merry Merry Christmas!!! Below is a quick note card I put together to go with the presents. I used TGF Holiday Anya, and "Happy Hollydays!" and "Tiding of Comfort and Joy" sentiment on the card. I also added some gems to the card to give it some bling.

Happy Holiday Banners

I made two banners this year; one with my students and one for my crafty friend. Both banners say "Happy Holidays" to steer away from the Christmas religion since not all celebrate Christmas. Also, the "Happy Holidays" banner can be hung for a longer time frame since its not only for Christmas.

For this banner, I cut the circles and scallop circles using the Spellbinders dies. Then I instructed the students to write out the letters using a sharpie. The students decorated the individual letters with glitter glue, and I tied  all the letters together with white ribbon. Doesn't it look kid - friendly? Students from grades K - 5 helped me with this banner, and they all did a fantastic job!

For this next banner, I die cut 28 Spellbinder's Scallop triangles. Then I embossed every other triangle using silver embossing powder. I used the Cricut to cut out the letters and added a few embellishments. I didn't get to take good quality pictures of the banner, so I hope you can see all the details.

My banner hanging nicely under a fireplace. :)

Wishing you a Merry Christmas

Christmas is approaching very quickly and I have yet to finish all my cards and projects. I wanted to make a manly Christmas card for my guy friend but I had a little difficultly designing something because the ones I have been making are mostly girly. Below is an image of my take on "something being manly". I hope you agree that it is somewhat manly.

Happy Holly Jolly Christmas Jars

These jars have became so popular. I have made them for so many different occasions including Thank You's, Graduations, and Birthday Parties. Below is my version for Christmas. Feel few to browse around my blog to see the other styles. I bought the jars from Ikea, and I used StazOn ink to secure the images on the glass, lid, and tag.

TGF Anya and Ian Christmas Greeting Frame

I altered this frame to include Ian, so I could give it to a couple that I know will LOVE. ;) I used TGF's Xmas Sweeties stamp set along with some poinsettia flowers to complete this project. The picture frame was purchased from Ikea, and it came in a set of 3...so I have two more to be as creative as I can! Thanks for stopping by!

Celebrate

Let's Celebrate TGF's Cheeky Rockabilly!!! I made two completely different cards using the same image because she was just so adorable. On the first card, I added a piece of doily and green twine. On the second, I used the birthday hats from Stampin Up's Party Hearty Set and some red gems.

Mickey Pumpkin

My Boyfriend & I finally got the chance to carve a pumpkin after so many years. We decided to carve our all time favorite Disney character, Mickey Mouse! Isn't it adorable?!

Goodies...It's Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!! I made these goodies for a Halloween gathering. I used 1/2" cello bags and M&M's (Halloween colored ones) for this project. I used two different size circle punches to cut out the black, green, and orange circles. The franky and spidy stamps are from an Inkadinkado Halloween stamp set I got from Michael's. I'm so excited to share these with my family and friends. Hope you all have a safe Halloween and thanks for stopping by!

The cupcake is from an Inkadinkado Cupcake set I got from Michaels, the phrases are from Stampin Up's Party Hearty set, and last but not least I used TGF Cheeky Rockabilly for the second card. Hope you get inspired to create your own too! :)

Handmade Picture Frames

I designed these frames based on what I thought my friends would like. I used the two images from The Greeting Farm; Spotlight Anya and Cupcake Anya. The designer paper is from the AC Patterned Paper collection I got from Michael's. I had always been using Mod Podge to finish my frames, but this time I used Aleene's Spray Acrylic Sealer - Gloss for the finishing touch and it came out much cleaner and nicer. It doesn't leave the Mod Podge streaks. I love how professional it came out, and will continue to use it in my future frame projects. Hope you LIKE as well! Till next time!

TGF Joyce - Happy Birthday

4x4x4 Calendar Easel Box

This is the very first Easel Calendar Box I experimented with and I was so impressed with the outcome of it. Below are the pictures. I gave this to a dear friend for her birthday and I know she will put it into good use next year, and hopefully years after that. Suggestions to use this box even though the calendar has expire includes: printing a new set of calendar for the new year or clipping pictures of friends and families on the top section to be displayed on your desk.
